Today is National Wear Red day!! Wear red and support the fight against heart disease. The number one killer of women! I, oddly enough, have nothing red! I don’t wear red too often! When I do it comes in accessories! Like cute red clutches or red nails! I fully intend to purchase my first pair of Red soled red heels! Christian Louboutin red heels!!
With this outfit since the heels and lips are so dramatic! I’m turning everything else down a notch. The striped shirt is so you can notice the red lips! The rolled up jeans is so you can notice the red heels!! And I recently bought a khaki short jacket so I wanted to add it too!

Wondering what to buy now while it’s still cold that will take you into the warmer months? Choose chiffon! I personally love chiffon! I’m always wearing chiffon, I love the way it moves and how it’s timeless and seasonless! You can wear it in cold months, in warm months and even in hot months!
In the winter you can wear it with jeans and layered under a blazer, in the spring you can wear it with wide leg trousers and platforms. In the summer you can wear it with shorts and gladiators or even over your bathing suit! And in the fall it’s the perfect top to any jeans and heels!
Seriously I think I have a million chiffon tops, in every print, color, and even a leopard print one!

Dr. Martens remind me of when I was in high school and I wore doc martens with everything, everyday! So I’m taking a cue from my teenage self and pairing these boots with everything!

I must admit I have a girl crush on Alexa Chung! Everything she wears is genius! Stripes, long legs, boots, and that winged eyeliner! The way she looks a bit disheveled, with her unkempt hair! Her style is edgy and chic! Makes me want to be a British girl, or at least have British style!

One rule when you wear these, go bold or go home! Lace leggings must be worn with attitude and confidence! If you don’t have that, forget it! And avoid lace on lace.

Seen all over the Chanel spring runway! I adore wooden clogs! I’ve been looking for a pair at vintage shops but I haven’t found any cute clogs, yet! Persistance pays off!!
With clogs to prevent from looking too 70’s costume pair it with a contemporary outfit! Like a chambray shirt dress! And I love the studs!! It’s raining here in Dallas so the background looks like rain to me. I love the pop of color on the belt and everything else is simple.
These clogs are a bit more expensive, I like to keep it under $100. But I sincerely recommend you browsing vintage and thrift stores for the clogs!

When I had to wear a uniform in elementary school, I also wore a pair of black oxfords! Which I hated at the time but now I kinda wish I still had them! I love pairing something this preppy like oxfords with something super laid back like boyfriend jeans!

I recently found an amazing leather vest at a thrift store and I fell in love! I find myself topping every outfit with this vest!
A good thing to remember though since this vest is so tough wear it with soft girly pieces. Try not to look too biker girl.
I love how the purse looks a bit hardcore cause it’s a hard clutch, but it’s still a sweet print! And I love pairing strips with leopard print!
